Scott Decker is the Head of Business Immigration at The Fogle Law Firm, LLC. He has practiced exclusively in the field of Immigration and Nationality Law for more than 20 years. Mr. Decker earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 1997 from SUNY Geneseo and his Juris Doctorate degree in 2000 from Cornell Law School.
Mr. Decker’s focus is helping employers secure U.S. visas for key talent. His clients span a wide range of industries, including financial services, health care, and manufacturing. He provides businesses with strategic immigration guidance regarding the movement of professionals around the world, and retaining those professionals once they are in the United States. He also advises clients on the immigration consequences of mergers and acquisitions to effectively and efficiently manage these transitions for both the employer and the foreign national employees, and he provides clients with training and supplemental education through webinars and presentations to ensure immigration policies are applied consistently. Mr. Decker regularly assists clients with visa applications in the following categories: E-1, E-2, E-3, H-1B, L-1, O-1, R-1, TN, PERM, and EB-1, EB-2 and EB-3. He also assists clients with issues related to naturalization.
Mr. Decker is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and has presented at numerous conferences and seminars on topics such as I-9 compliance, post-graduation visa options for college students, and receiving a green card through the PERM process.
