A native of New York City, Urwah Ahmed received her Juris Doctor from New England Law School in Boston, Massachusetts in 2015. She graduated Baruch College, City University of New York in 2012 with a Bachelors of Arts in English. She is the first in her Pakistani family to become an attorney and is proud to be an Immigration Attorney – fighting for the American Dream.
At Fogle Law, Urwah is responsible for overseeing the firm’s Family Law cases dealing exclusively in Uncontested Divorces. Her passion for immigration has led her to represent client’s across USCIS, EOIR Courts, and Board of Immigration Appeals matters.
Her experience includes working as a law clerk for a New York based law firm where she primarily worked in Removal Defense Immigration and Family Based Immigration, interning for a business immigration firm in Massachusetts, the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office, WABC-TV/Channel 7 Eyewitness News, and the Sikh Coalition.
Committed to the cause of human rights, in Law School she was awarded the Public Service Honor Roll for about 300 hours of community service work. She speaks Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi. She enjoys travel and discovering new places to eat with her husband, Wasiq.
